The company is gearing up for an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) set for release in Q3-2024. This summer’s field program will concentrate on geological, engineering, and environmental studies to further mitigate risks, uncover additional potential, and pave the way for a Pre-Feasibility study in 2025.
2024 Program Highlights
- Geological work:
- 10,000+ meters (m) of drilling will be dedicated to upgrading resources and conducting targeted drill holes for resource expansion at both project areas, with a specific emphasis on exploring undrilled prospects at Ranch.
- Initial mapping and prospecting will be carried out at new claims situated north and east of the contiguous Lawyers-Ranch project, covering prospective units with mineral showings and significant gossanous outcrops.
- Engineering work:
- Geochemical sampling is underway at Lawyers and will commence at Ranch to assess the acid-base qualities of the mineralized material.
- Geotechnical drilling at Ranch will focus on rock quality characteristics to aid in potential mine design.
- Additional metallurgical studies at Ranch will aid in further classifying rock comminution characteristics and optimizing processing flow charts.
- Environmental studies:
- Two years of baseline data collection at Lawyers have been completed, with ongoing studies emphasizing monitoring and maintenance.
- Ranch is in its second year of a two-year study period, with biologists and hydrogeologists on-site to continue characterizing the project’s aquatic, terrestrial, geochemical, and meteorological components.
