StrikePoint Gold Inc. Announces Results of Cuprite Gold Project Drill Program
Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – June 4, 2024) – StrikePoint Gold Inc. (TSXV: SKP) (OTCQB: STKXF) (“StrikePoint” or the “Company”) revealed the outcomes of its maiden drill campaign on the Cuprite Gold Project, situated in Nevada’s Walker Lane gold belt.
Drill Program Results
StrikePoint successfully executed 5 holes totaling around 3,100 meters of reverse circulation drilling at the Cuprite Gold Project. The drilling data provided valuable insights into the potential mineralization of the site.
Hole ID | From (m) | To (m) | Length (m) | Au g/t | Ag g/t |
SKP24-001 | 362.71 | 374.90 | 12.19 | 0.46 | 10.10 |
Insights from Drill Program
Gold was found in four out of five drill holes, indicating the potential for mineralization at the Cuprite Gold Project. The samples also suggested a presence of oxide and sulphide gold, which could be influenced by geological structures. The location and characteristics of the mineralization hint at the possibility of a low-sulphidation, epithermal system, similar to other successful mining projects in the region.
Future Prospects
CEO Michael G. Allen expressed optimism regarding the drill results and highlighted the significance of identifying potential higher-grade mineralization targets for future drilling programs. The exploration efforts are focused on mapping clay alterations to refine the mineralization targets further, potentially leading to the discovery of deposits associated with feeder structures on the property.
