Hyderabad: The Madhapur special operations team and the RGI police, during their routine vehicle checks, made a significant seizure of 34.78 kg of gold jewellery and 43.6 kg of silver worth Rs 23,24,75,700 that were being transported in two cars, as announced by the Cyberabad police commissioner. The suspects involved in this operation did not possess the necessary documents to validate the transportation of these valuable metals and are currently under interrogation. The seized gold and silver have been handed over to the FST, and the income-tax department has been informed of the incident.
It was revealed that Naplog Logistic, Marudhar Express, and Maa Bhavaani Logistic Services were responsible for transporting the precious metals from Mumbai to Hyderabad via air cargo.
