Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man responsible for stealing gold chains from multiple victims in various Boston neighborhoods over a two-month period.
The suspect, described as a 5′6″ possibly Hispanic man aged between 18 and 20 years old, committed four unarmed robberies in Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury between June 8 and August 4.
The suspect is known to wear a hooded sweatshirt, which he tightens around his head during the robberies. He targets victims who are between the ages of 60 and 70 and follows them from bus or train stations before forcibly taking their gold chains.

Two women were recently robbed at gunpoint of their valuable jewelry in Roxbury. The investigations for these incidents are ongoing and are being treated separately from the other unarmed robberies.
