BOSTON — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for stealing gold chains from multiple victims across various Boston neighborhoods over a two-month period.
The suspect, described as a 5’6″ possibly Hispanic male aged between 18 and 20 years old, reportedly carried out four unarmed robberies in Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury from June 8 to August 4.
The individual is said to wear a hooded sweatshirt, which he tightens around his head. He targets victims leaving bus or train stations, forcibly removing their gold chains.
Investigators note that the victims of these thefts are typically elderly, between the ages of 60 and 70.
