RICHMOND, Va. — A grandmother is making a desperate appeal for help after discovering that her daughter, Emonyi Rainey, was killed in Richmond. The grim discovery of Rainey’s body, wrapped in a blanket inside an old shopping cart, took place on Richmond’s Southside in an alley near the 1900 block of Krouse Street on Tuesday, June 4. Rainey’s body remained unidentified in the morgue at the Medical Examiner’s office for nearly a month.
