Astral Resources NL (ASX: AAR) (Astral or the Company) has released assay results for the first 20 holes of a 31-hole reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the Kamperman Prospect within the Feysville Gold Project. The project is situated approximately 14km south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Assay results from the initial 20 drill holes show promising results, including significant gold grades such as 12 metres at 7.26g/t Au, 25 metres at 24.3g/t Au, and 3 metres at 177g/t Au in hole FRC378.
- Drilling at RC holes FRC377 and FRC378 aimed to delineate mineralization in the northern part of the Kamperman Prospect, resulting in encouraging results prompting further diamond drilling.
- Step-out drilling to the north and north-east has confirmed gold mineralization, indicating potential extensions for the Kamperman Prospect.
- Additional results from the Kamperman program are awaited, with ongoing drilling activities at Mandilla, Iris, and Eos deposits.
Astral Resources’ Managing Director, Marc Ducler, commented:“The recent drill results at Kamperman indicate the presence of a significant high-grade opportunity that warrants further exploration. The mineralization patterns uncovered by the drilling program suggest the potential for substantial gold resources.
“The upcoming diamond drilling will provide critical insights into the orientation of the high-grade zone in hole FRC378, paving the way for a comprehensive understanding of the deposit’s mineralization system.
“Given the positive results from the Kamperman Prospect, ongoing exploration efforts in the region and at the wider Feysville Project are necessary to unlock the full potential of the area.
