Gold Country Casino Resort is proudly unveiling the first full-service sit-down Wahlburgers in the entire state of California. Owned by chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actors Donnie and Mark, Wahlburgers is a renowned burger chain that originated on the east coast.
Casino general manager Frank Oppenheim shared with Action News Now that the decision to bring Wahlburgers to the establishment was carefully considered. He mentioned, “There were a number of criteria we were looking at, and Wahlburgers really fit the bill. We wanted a nationally recognized restaurant that really wasn’t offered here in this market, and we wanted something that fit our concept; Gold Country Casino is a boutique casino.”

Wahlburgers at Gold Country Casino boasts an outside patio to cater to a larger number of customers. The restaurant features a full-service bar and a menu highlighted by a variety of burgers, both grilled and fried chicken options, including chicken sandwiches, tater tots, and more,” Oppenheim explained.

The new Wahlburgers establishment is situated on the platinum level of the casino, which represents the casino’s latest expansion. The platinum level ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for October 5, with Wahlburgers set to celebrate its grand opening on October 16.
