Edmonton, AB – TheNewswire – July 11, 2024 – Golden Rapture Mining (CSE-GLDR) is excited to share exploration updates and the recent discovery of the Terrel Mine at its Phillip Township Gold Property. This old high-grade gold occurrence was originally found in 1894 during the Lake of the Woods Gold Rush. After being hidden for a century under forest overgrowth, it was rediscovered by the Golden Rapture exploration team, located just 300 meters southwest of the Combined Mine.
The Potential of Phillips Township Property
The Phillips Township property holds promise with a total of eighteen (18) mine shafts and an adit. This is the first time that all these high-grade gold systems, including the Combined Mine, Mascotte Mine, Trojan Mine, Boulder Mine, Terrell Mine, OGS Occurrence, Kuluk Occurrence, and the Young’s Bay Occurrence, are part of a single property.
Mr. Richard Rivet, CEO of Golden Rapture, highlighted the significance of recent exploration efforts, especially the surface grab sampling programs at the Combined Mine and Young’s Bay Occurrence. Additional insights from these programs provide valuable data for future operations and development.
Youth Bay and Combined Mine Sample Results Highlights
Surface grab sampling at the Young’s Bay Occurrence yielded noteworthy results, including samples like 163.33 g/t Au, 93.94 g/t Au, and more. These samples demonstrate the high-grade nature of the gold deposits in this area, indicating its potential for further exploration and development. A total of 22 samples were collected from three veins at the Young’s Bay Gold Occurrence.
Similarly, the Combined Mine Area surface grab sample highlights revealed impressive results such as 72.80 g/t Au, 39.46 g/t Au, and others. These findings underscore the rich mineralization present at the Combined Mine, showcasing the opportunity for future drilling and extraction.
It is worth noting that a diamond drill program has been initiated at the Combined Mine area, offering a cost-effective drilling method with the flexibility to operate at the company’s pace. Additionally, future plans include drilling at the Young’s Bay Occurrence pending the availability of more funds or suitable joint venture partnerships.
