Burglary at Home in Dindigul
A home in MVM Nagar, Dindigul, was recently targeted by burglars who made away with gold jewellery and cash. The incident occurred while the owner, Ramesh, an engineer, and his family members were out visiting a relative. Upon their return, they discovered that the door locks had been broken open and the almirah, where they kept their valuables, had been tampered with.
Police Action and Investigation
The Dindigul West police were promptly informed about the burglary, leading to the arrival of Superintendent of Police Pradeep and ASP Sibin at the scene of the crime. Preliminary inquiries revealed that approximately 60 sovereigns of gold jewellery and ₹1 lakh in cash were missing from the almirah. Interestingly, Ramesh had recently relocated from Erode to join his family in Dindigul.
