Dublin Man Appears in Court for €1.4m Gold Bullion Seizure
A 55-year-old man, Farhats Bathijevs, appeared in court in connection with the seizure of gold bullion worth €1.4m in Dublin. The discovery was made during a two-day search operation where police also found €460,000 in cash, as well as cocaine and ecstasy with a street value of €210,000. The gold bars and coins, totaling 18kg, were found at a business premises, while the drugs were discovered at a house.

Arrests of Two Women in Connection with Seizures
In addition to Mr. Bathijevs’ arrest, two women in their 30s and 50s were also apprehended in connection with the seizures.
