Following the tragic events of September 11th, Bobby Body made the brave decision to enlist in the U.S. Army. While serving in Iraq, he was injured by an IED and underwent numerous surgeries. Despite his injuries, Body remained resilient and determined, eventually having to amputate his left leg at the knee. Today, he proudly represents the United States Paralympic team in powerlifting and has his sights set on winning gold at the upcoming Paralympic Games in Paris this September.
