Robbery of 1 kg gold in Ahmedabad
In a shocking incident, two unidentified attackers grabbed a bag containing 1 kg of gold from a jeweller’s assistant in Geeta Mandir area of Ahmedabad on a Saturday evening. According to Inspector S A Patel, the robbery took place as Dharam Thakkar, an employee of Asarfi Jeweller in Jamalpur, was returning to the showroom from Manek Chowk with the solid gold used for making jewelry.
